About This Position This position will be delivering meals in the community for the Oneida County meals program. The Delivery Driver will drive a company vehicle for an established route/territory. You will help with the loading, unloading, and delivering goods to customer locations.
You will report to a Food Service Director. This position is located onsite inside of a jail/correctional facility.

Essential Functions/Main Responsibilities - Learn the delivery area.
- Check orders for quality and accuracy.
- Follow proper delivery procedures.
- Help with food preparation, serving, and kitchen maintenance, cleaning, and sanitizing.
- Load, Unload, and deliver products and orders promptly.
- Report any necessary maintenance or repairs needed on our vehicle to the manager.
- Maintain and keep the vehicle clean.
- You will have physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, kneeling, walking, and standing for extended periods of time.
- Be able to stand and be on your feet for much of the scheduled shift when not driving.
- Other responsibilities as determined by our needs.
What You'll Need - High school diploma or Equivalent, and you must be at least 21 years of age.
- One (1) years' experience delivering products/inventory.
- We require a valid state driver's license for assigned vehicles.
- Transport and set up food and food service items.
- Knowledge of safe driving procedures and traffic rules.
